Privacy Policy

PeriClear is designed for private symptom tracking and appointment preparation. This policy explains what the app may collect, how it is used, and the choices available to you.

Effective date: July 10, 2026

What PeriClear Is

PeriClear helps you track symptoms, irregular bleeding, sleep, mood, energy, medication changes, birth control, HRT, progesterone, supplements, and notes you choose to enter. It organizes what you logged into private summaries and doctor-ready appointment reports.

PeriClear does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, contraception, fertility prediction, hormone testing, clinical decision support, or emergency services.

Information You May Provide

  • Account and authentication information, such as the email or login method used to create and access your account.
  • Symptom and check-in information, including symptoms, severity selections, mood, energy, sleep, bleeding or spotting, cramps, clots, medication events, hormone or birth-control changes, supplement changes, appointment preparation notes, and other notes you choose to enter.
  • Reports and exports generated from your logged entries.
  • Support form information, such as optional name or nickname, reply email if you want a response, issue category, message, and optional device or app version.

Purchase and Subscription Information

Premium subscriptions are purchased through the Apple App Store. Apple processes payment information. PeriClear may receive subscription status and purchase metadata through Apple and RevenueCat, such as product identifier, entitlement status, renewal status, transaction timing, and cancellation or expiration state. PeriClear does not receive your full payment card number from Apple.

Technical, Analytics, and Diagnostics Data

PeriClear may process device and app technical data needed to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the app, such as app version, operating system, device type, crash details, and limited privacy-safe event names.

If analytics or funnel events are configured, they are intended to avoid symptom names, notes, report content, medication names, bleeding details, or other health content. If Sentry crash diagnostics are configured, PeriClear uses privacy-safe defaults and scrubbing so health entries, notes, and report content are not intentionally sent in crash reports.

How Information Is Used

  • Provide account access, private journaling, history, reports, exports, and deletion controls.
  • Show subscription status, restore purchases, and unlock Premium features.
  • Maintain security, diagnose bugs, prevent abuse, and understand privacy-safe app usage patterns.
  • Respond to support requests when you provide a way to reply.
  • Comply with applicable platform, tax, accounting, security, legal, or App Store obligations.

No Ads or Sale of Health Data

PeriClear does not show third-party ads in the app. PeriClear does not sell your health data. PeriClear does not use your symptom entries, notes, bleeding details, medication names, or reports for advertising.

Service Providers

PeriClear uses Supabase for account authentication and database hosting. If you choose Sign in with Apple or Google, that provider may share an account identifier and, depending on your choices, an email address or name with Supabase and PeriClear so the app can create and access your account.

Other providers needed to run the app and public support site may include Apple App Store services, RevenueCat for subscription status, Sentry for crash diagnostics if configured, site hosting, and support form storage. These providers process information only as needed for their services and according to their own terms and privacy commitments.

Export, Deletion, and Retention

PeriClear provides export and deletion controls in the app. You can export your logged data and request deletion of your account and app data. Deletion removes PeriClear account data and logged app content from PeriClear-controlled systems, subject to limited records that may need to remain for security, legal, backup, accounting, fraud prevention, or platform compliance reasons.

Apple, Google, Supabase, RevenueCat, Sentry, and other providers may retain some records independently under their own policies or legal obligations. Deleting your PeriClear account does not cancel an Apple App Store subscription or delete the Apple or Google account used to sign in.

Support Messages

Please do not include sensitive health details in support messages. Support messages are for account, subscription, report/export, data deletion, bug, and general app support. If you include a reply email, it will be used to respond to your request.

HIPAA

PeriClear is a consumer wellness and appointment-preparation app. It is not offered as a service by a health plan, healthcare clearinghouse, or healthcare provider, and it does not claim to be a HIPAA-covered service unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.

Children

PeriClear is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. Do not use PeriClear if you are under 13.

Changes

This policy may be updated as PeriClear changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date and, when appropriate, by providing in-app or App Store notice.
